Welcome!

This is just a placeholder website as we try to belatedly get the site up with more resources. But the key message of “It’s Democracy O’Clock” is straightforward:

Our traditional voting rights, voting systems, and voting accessibility are all under attack. At his “midterm convention” recently, the President even called for his supporters to “cheat like hell” in the November election.

This year, more than ever before, it’s important to vote for candidates up and down the ballot who support convenient access to voting, and who support local election workers and volunteers. Even if they’re not our favorites on some other issues.

If we let anti-democracy forces taint this election or throw monkey-wrenches into States’ ability to count ballots and declare winners, we may not GET THE CHANCE in the future to vote for candidates who represent the specific policies that each of us value the most. This election is about making sure that we can use future elections to weigh in on how we feel about wars, taxes, social issues, AI, and everything else.

Right now:

That’s how our democracy has worked for more than 200 years. Any system can be improved, but the basic system we have now has helped almost everyone get their voice heard over time.

Check back on this website in the next few weeks, and we will hopefully be able to point you to more resources to find out which candidates are really the most pro-democracy.
